Alysia,

Thanks for this post. I think we've become such a consumer-driven society we have lost when it comes to the art of giving...we have so much - even people who make under $40k per year are among the richest people in this world... in fact, in the top 90th percentile! That puts others of us in an even more blessed position.

There's a lot we can do without and so much we can do to help. I hope this helps people think more about what they can do within their own sphere of influence to help others.
